Annapolis Couple Launches New Company Putting Business Experience to Work

Annapolis residents Molly and Ed Connors have launched a new company called Rising Tide, a multi-faceted venture utilizing their business and marketing backgrounds. The company will combine product distribution and marketing services targeted to corporate and government clients. Molly and Ed Connors have experience in online sales, business development and bricks and mortar retail ownership all of which will be utilized in Rising Tide.

Rising Tide offers a one stop solution for promotional products, logo-branded apparel and gifts, name badges and marketing services. Offering person to person service from start to finish, Rising Tide can find your ad solution quickly and at a great price.

Rising Tide principal owner, Molly Connors, has 15 years experience in website marketing and sales including work with the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association. In her position with the USNA Alumni Association, Ms. Connors oversaw sales and marketing of all promotional and alumni merchandise targeted to more than 50,000 USNA Alumni. Ms. Connors has relationships with more than 30 vendors in this area and is a member of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI).

Rising Tide offers government and institutions a source for fitness and sporting goods equipment. Ed Connors, Vice President, Government Sales, is a former multiple store owner in the Play It Again Sports Franchise Chain. He owned and operated the Annapolis Play It Again Sports store from 1992 to 2006 and retains extensive contacts among fitness and sports equipment vendors. Among the markets Rising Tide will serve in this area are Parks and Recreation, Schools, Military/Government, Hotels, Senior Centers and Multi-Housing Developments.

Rising Tide also offers website marketing services including an exciting new Live Chat service called JetSpring. JetSpring provides websites with a live chat solution to enhance both customer/user service and lead generation. JetSpring's labor force consists of U.S. based sales agents who are well educated and well trained.
