Rising Tide Lands U.S. Air Force Contract

The Annapolis based company, Rising Tide, today announced that it has won a federal government contract award from the U.S. Air Force. The contract includes more than 11,000 pounds of weight training equipment to be delivered to Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. The total award was for $21,180. Also included in the fitness equipment contract are weight benches, Olympic bars, dumbbell racks and Plyometric platforms. The equipment was purchased from two companies, Body Solid and New York Barbells. The contract award was made on September 29, 2009.

Rising Tide is an Annapolis based company operated by Molly and Ed Connors. The company specializes in business to business and business to government sales. Among its product lines are advertising specialties, custom promotional products and sports and fitness equipment.
